Summer Student Internship Opportunity with the Polar Continental Shelf Program
The Aurora Research Institute can nominate one Aurora College student for this amazing opportunity. The successful candidate must:

Be a returning student in an Aurora College program

Have first aid training (or be able to attain this training before the summer)

Be screened at a the required security level (this is to be completed by PCSP)

Be able to provide proof of Canadian citizenship

Be a good ambassador for the Aurora Research Institute and Aurora College

Have an interest in the Arctic and in Northern research
-
Have knowledge and/or related experience
-
Be able to adjust to living and working in a small Arctic community
-
Be keen for an amazing northern experience and willing to work effectively with the PCSP team
This position pays $24.53/hr (or $25.02/hr after June 21st).
The work week is 37.5 hours from Monday to Friday with requests often to work overtime on weekends as and when needed.
All expenses including travel, meals and accommodation will be covered by PCSP.
